The Richfield History Center opened its doors to the public on May 21, 2005. The center was made possible through the hard work of numerous volunteers and the support of the community. Donations of goods, services and funding to the value of $120,000 resulted in the completion of a fully paid for facility.
The Richfield History Center offers exhibit space, a video history of Richfield produced by Best Buy’s Yellow Tag Productions, a local history library and meeting space. Groups and individuals may attend one of the ongoung programs exploring a wide variety of historical topics. Researchers may explore our collection of local history and family genealogical materials. Books, newspapers, yearbooks, artifacts, an extensive photograph collection and much more are available.
The Richfield History Center and the Bartholomew House Museum are open to he public every Monday and Wednesday from 12:00-4:00pm. They are also open from 12:00-4:00pm on the second Satruday of each month and by appointment.
