It’s that time of year again – time to renew your membership in the Richfield Historical Society or become a member for the first time! In the next week many of you will be receiving our membership brochure in the mail, our little reminder that we need you1 Now more than ever our members are one of our greatest resources, providing the support we need to continue to grow and excel. Our members contribute to our success in so many ways, through their financial support, as volunteers, by attending our programs, and simply by spreading the word about the Society.
Of course membership has its priveledges! Free admission to the Bartholomew House. A wide variety of programing for adults, children and families, including Kid’s Day, the Music from the Porch series coming this summer, and our recent lecture on Sarah Sibley. A 10% discount on sale items and special programs. But perhaps the biggest benefit of all is sharing in our accomplishments – the production of a DVD history, the publication of our book, Richfield: Minnesota’s Oldest Suburb. So I hope that at whatever level you wish to join or renew at, you will take this opportunity to support the Richfield Historical Society so it may continue to play a vital role in our community.
