The Richfield Historical Society, Inc. was formed in 1967 by the Minnesota Valley Women’s Club. The Society was formed in an effort to restore the Bartholomew home built in 1852 on the shores of Wood Lake. The farm house is located at 6901 Lyndale Avenue South in Richfield, Minnesota. The house has been restored to show life on a farm in the late 1800’s. The Bartholomew House is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites.
Events are offered on a regular basis for general meetings. Programs and speakers generally focus on subjects of historic interest. A Board of Directors meets monthly to conduct the ongoing business of the Society.
The society is non-profit organization.
